Our rates are per room, per night based on two adults sharing and include breakfast.

To Secure a Booking

Address, email, telephone numbers and debit/credit card details are required.  Your details will be kept securely and full payment will be taken approximately 14 days prior to your arrival.  Full payment is also required if your booking is made within our 14 day cancellation period.  Cash accepted, sorry no cheques.


Should reservations be cancelled within 14 days of your arrival date, Dartmoor House reserves the right to charge the full amount.  We will endeavour to re-let the room(s) and issue a refund but would recommend that you take out your own cancellation insurance.  Bookings are not transferrable.

Check-In / Check-Out

Day of Arrival – Strictly 4pm – 8pm  Please notify us if you intend arriving after hours.

Day of Departure – Guests are requested to vacate their room/s by 10.30am

General Information

Breakfast is served between 8am – 9am in our Breakfast Room.  Earlier breakfast by arrangement.  Please inform us of any food allergies – peanuts/nuts are used in the kitchen and the Breakfast Room.

Guests are not permitted to have visitors to their rooms without our prior agreement.

Please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage so that we can attempt a speedy repair or clean.  Spillages are more easily rectified the sooner they are dealt with.

Any significant breakage or damage may result in a charge for replacement, repair or specialist cleaning.  If the damage means the room cannot be made available in good time for the next arriving guests, you may also be liable for our loss of income.

Any item taken from the rooms without our consent will be charged for.  Lost keys or keys not returned will incur a £20 charge.

We hope that you will have a happy and comfortable stay at Dartmoor House but should you have any grievance, then please notify us before you check-out and we will try and rectify the situation before you leave.  We do not accept any liability for any issues that have not been brought to our attention, damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.
